Le Genmar Daphne a été autorisé à reprendre sa route : Il est arrivé à bon port

Comme nous vous l’annoncions dans un précédent billet, le pétrolier le Genmar Daphne, qui devait charger du pétrole provenant des sables bitumineux à Sorel-Tracey, avait été bloqué la semaine dernière par Transports Canada aux Escoumins à cause d’une défaillance enregistrée au niveau d’une pompe d’incendie d’urgence.

Afin d’effectuer les réparations nécessaires pour pouvoir reprendre sa mission, le Genmar Daphne avait été autorisé à se rendre au port de Québec. Dimanche et suite au rapport obtenu par Transports Canada, qui assure que toutes les réparations ont été effectuées, le Genmar Daphne a été autorisé à reprendre sa route, direction Sorel-Tracy.

Il pourra charger du pétrole, mais après une dernière vérification des inspecteurs de Transports Canada qui sera effectuée dés ce matin. Selon des informations de La Presse
