Un homme, Robin Paquin, est accusé d’être l’auteur d’un incendie criminel d’une résidence en Beauce, dimanche dernier. Le feu aurait détruit toute la maison, située sur la route 276.
L’accusé, qui résidait lui-même dans la dite maison, s’est livré mardi aux policiers de la Sûreté du Québec. Il fait aussi l’objet d’accusations de menaces de mort et de harcèlement criminel. Selon Ann Mathieu, de la Sûreté, il pourrait s’agir d’un « litige familial qui aurait occasionné ces évènements ».
Robert Paquin, 50 ans, qui a comparu devant la justice de Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, est déjà incarcéré. Le 11 avril prochain, il devrait revenir en cour pour son enquête sur remise en liberté.
