Un automobiliste qui essayait de s’enfuir a percuté une autopatrouille à Longueuil

Dans la nuit de samedi à dimanche, vers les alentours de 1h30 du matin, des patrouilleurs du Service de police de l’agglomération de Longueuil ont remarqué qu’un automobiliste roulait rapidement sur le boulevard Jacques-Cartier sans respecter ses arrêts. En voulant l’intercepter, l’automobiliste a décidé de prendre la fuite d’où la course poursuite.

Quelques minutes plus tard, le fuyard, qui a voulu faire un demi-tour, a raté sa manœuvre pour venir percuter de plein fouet une des autopatrouilles qui le suivait. Aucune personne n’a été blessée lors du choc et le fuyard, un homme de 29 ans, a été arrêté.

Des tests d’alcoolémie ont été demandés pour vérifier si l’alcool était en cause. La police de Longueuil a également procédé à la vérification de l’identité du fuyard et voir s’il est connu des services de police. Selon des informations du Journal de Montréal
