Le procès de l’ancien sénateur Patrick Brazeau est ouvert

C’est aujourd’hui que débutera, au tribunal de Gatineau, le procès de l’ancien sénateur Patrick Brazeau. Ce dernier fait face à des accusations de voies de fait et d’agression sexuelle pour une affaire qui remonte en février 2013.

Suite à ces accusations, M. Brazeau avait été écarté dans un premier temps du caucus conservateur avant d’être suspendu par le sénat. Ce ne sont pas les premiers soucis judiciaires que connaît l’ancien sénateur. Il fait face à d’autres accusations dont voies de fait, menace et possession de cocaïne pour un incident enregistré en avril dernier dans une résidence de Gatineau.

M. Brazeau est également attendu en Cour le 1 juin prochain pour son enquête préliminaire concernant des accusations de fraude et d’abus de confiance. Selon des informations de 98,5 FM
