Jean-Pierre Roy n’est plus : L’ancien joueur de Baseball s’est éteint à l’âge de 94 ans

Jean-Pierre Roy, ancien lanceur et commentateur Québécois nous a quittés vendredi 31 octobre à l’âge de 94 ans.

Il est décédé en Floride où il habite depuis près de 24 ans. Jean-Pierre Roy avait joué dans les ligues majeures avec les Dodgers de Brooklyn, puis avec les Royaux de Montréal de la Ligue internationale avant de devenir commentateur des matchs des Expos de Montréal en 1969.

Il quitte ses fonctions à la télévision de Radio-Canada en 1983 et prend sa retraite en 1990. Il s’installe depuis à Pompano Beach en Floride où il décède entouré de ses proches. Selon des informations de La Presse Canadienne
