Une fuite de gaz à Montréal a causé l’intoxication d’une trentaine de personnes

La fuite de gaz a été enregistrée lundi peu après 15h au sein d’un bâtiment de trois étages du Plateau-Mont-Royal, à Montréal.

Dépêchés au coin des avenues Mont-Royal et De Lorimier, les pompiers ont pris en charge une trentaine de personnes intoxiquées au monoxyde de carbone. A titre préventif, une dizaine de personnes ont été transportées vers un centre hospitalier dont un pompier qui a également été incommodé. Pour les autres victimes de cette fuite de gaz, elles ont été prises en charge sur place.

Selon les premières informations, la fuite de monoxyde de carbone pourrait revenir à des travaux de réfection effectués sur le système de chauffage. Tous les moyens ont été déployés afin de procéder à la ventilation des lieux. Selon des informations du Journal de Montréal
