Rawdon : Un homme abattu lors d’une intervention policière

Lundi, vers les alentours de 14h30, les agents de la Sûreté du Québec ont été appelés à se dépêcher au niveau du chemin Ponderosa, à Rawdon pour un homme en crise qui s’était barricadé chez lui.

Le quinquagénaire a refusé de sortir de chez lui avant de foncer sur les policiers avec une hache à la main. Ces derniers ont alors ouvert le feu sur lui le touchant au thorax. L’homme, âgé de 56 ans, a été transporté vers un centre hospitalier où son décès a été constaté.

Vu que le décès de cet homme est survenu lors d’une intervention policière, l’enquête a été transférée au Bureau des enquêtes indépendantes afin de déterminer les circonstances exactes des faits. Selon des informations du Journal de Montréal
