Futur Pont Champlain : Les premiers clichés dévoilés par Denis Lebel

Denis Lebel, ministre de l’Infrastructure, des Collectivités et des Affaires intergouvernementales, a dévoilé ce vendredi lors d’une conférence de presse, les premières images du nouveau design du Pont Champlain.

Ce dernier, qui sera fonctionnel à partir de 2018, ne sera pas un pont suspendu, mais bien bâti sur des piliers. Il comportera trois tabliers à savoir deux pour le transport automobile et un pour le transport en commun. Ce pont aura également sa piste cyclable.

Afin de lancer le chantier et suite à l’appel d’offres, six sociétés de construction ont déjà exprimé leur intérêt à ce projet. Trois d’entre elles seront choisies pour présenter leurs offres et elles devraient respecter le même design. Elles auraient quelques petites possibilités pour effectuer des changements lorsqu’il s’agira des matériaux à utiliser. Cet énorme chantier permettra l’embauche de milliers de personnes pour une finalisation des travaux dans quatre années. Une enveloppe variant entre 3 et 5 milliards de dollars est nécessaire pour l’accomplissement du chantier. Selon des informations de Radio Canada
